Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Benjamin. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. Woohoo! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm over the moon about it. So let's make sure you're all set for your visit.
Both a valid theme park ticket and
theme park reservation are required to visit both Disneyland Resort theme parks. I suspect that you might already have a theme park reservation, but let's put on Chip's Rescue Ranger detective hat and double-check.
If you purchased your tickets at the Disneyland site, you were prompted to select the date of your visit. Upon doing this, a theme park reservation was created for your visit. Visit the Disneyland site and head to "My Plans" found under the heading "My Disneyland" where you will see a list of all your plans for the day including any confirmed theme park reservations. If you see four theme park reservations here for your tickets, you're good to go! You can also find this information in the
Disneyland app by tapping the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "Future Plans" tile.
I'm so excited about your upcoming magical visit. If you are planning to visit Disneyland Park on Valentine's Day, be aware that the park will
close early at 8:00 p.m. for a special ticketed event,
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite. If you don't have a ticket for this sold-out event, you will have to exit the park. Make sure to enjoy any special
Valentine's Day eats and treats during your visit. I had a chocolate-covered strawberry from Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen and it was divine.
Benjamin, I hope this helps and you discover that you were already one step ahead and have your theme park reservations ready to go. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Michelle
