Hi Hailey!
Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR at planDisney! I'm so sorry that you're having a bit of ticket trouble, but I'm happy to be your planEAR today. First off, I am so sorry that you had to cancel a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! I understand that the world is still ebbing and flowing in this crazy pandemic time, but I'm happy to say that The Magic is Here at Disneyland thanks to the many
reopening health and safety procedures.
I'm also sorry to say that I don't have the proper magic mirror to see inside your
My Disneyland Account, Hailey, to dig around on your behalf, but I think I might still be able to help. To start,
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Tickets are typically non-refundable. Some third-party authorized sellers and travel agencies have refund promises and guarantees. Or, if you purchased a ticket + hotel room
package either through Disneyland or with a
Good Neighbor Hotel, these
can be canceled for a full or partial refund, however, the funds would be refunded to your original form of payment and not held somewhere as a credit for future use. So if you were told that instead of a refund you'd get a credit, your best bet is to reach out to the original purchase location.
If you made that purchase directly from Disney, the contact info for the
Ticket help line is (714) 781-4636.
You might have canceled just the
Park Pass Reservation for the planned October Disney Day. Park Pass Reservations are a post-pandemic step meant to balance Guest levels by notating which theme park you plan to visit for the day or start your day in if you have a Park Hopper option. These reservations are needed in addition to purchasing a date-based theme park admission ticket. If you canceled just a Park Pass Reservation from last yEAR, the ticket itself should still be in your My Disneyland Account, or even check in your account through the
Disneyland Mobile App. (From the home screen, press the three stacked line icon in the bottom right corner, then select 'Tickets and Passes' from your account screen. If you don't see your tickets here, you might have to sEARch your email account for any purchase confirmations or call the Ticket help line at (714) 781-4636.) If you do see your tickets in your account, you should be set to make new Park Pass Reservations for a visit to Mickey's house within a 365-day time frame of when you originally purchased the tickets. In fact, hEAR's a
Park Pass Reservation Calendar to assist with planning your future Disney Days. Do note that Park Pass Reservations can be made starting 120 days in advance, so act fast.
I do hope that this was able to diagnose your ticket issue, Hailey. If not feel free to write us back! Be sure to check out the
official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
