Hey there, hi there, Alexander!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with your planning question. The only thing better than a magical adventure at
The Most Magical Place on Earth is a magical adventure with family, and I'm thrilled to hear that your family vacation is just around the riverbend. It'll be here before you know it (YAY!), so let's tie up your loose planning ends so that you can sit back, relax and start your pixie-dusted countdown.
I think you will be happy to hear that you can easily link your daughter's family's tickets to their
My Disney Experience account by linking her family to your
Family & Friends List, and I will walk you through the way that I find to be the easiest. First, ask your daughter to log in to her My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom, scroll down and tap "My Profile," and then "Show My Linking Code." Then, have her screenshot and send you her unique linking code. This QR code expires in 30 minutes, so just make sure you are ready to link!
Next, log in to your My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon, scroll down and tap "My Profile" and then "Family & Friends List" on the top of the screen. Scroll down to "Add a Guest" and select "Scan their linking code" to link your daughter using the linking code she just sent you. You can also manually enter the code if you have any trouble scanning it. Once you and your daughter are linked, add the other family members to your Family & Friends List by tapping "Add a Guest" and selecting "Find through my connected Guests." Once you're all linked, you're almost there!
Next, on your My Disney Experience app, tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile to see if everyone's tickets are linked properly to each family member. If not, just tap "Reassign Ticket" and select the proper Guest for each ticket. Once that is done, your daughter should now be able to see her family's tickets on her My Disney Experience account. Bibbidi ... bobbidi ... BOO!
One more thing, Alexander! Just double-check that everyone has a
Theme Park Pass reservation for each park day. These reservations are required for everyone to enter all four of the theme parks, so this is a planning step you definitely don't want to skip.
Alexander, with the Walt Disney World
50th Anniversary Celebration and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts (my absolute favorite EPCOT fest) in full swing during your visit, your family could not be visiting at a better time. There will be
so much to do, see and taste, and it sounds like the trip of a lifetime! Enjoy every magical moment!
I hope this was helpful, Alexander, and I hope you stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
The magic is calling,
Mandy
