hi- i purchased tickets from the disney website to be picked up at our Disney resort. i then realized my credit card offers a discount on these tickets. Will disney change/ update the price for me?

Hi Melissa! I actually got several different answers to this question which isn't uncommon when you call. Things change so quickly at Disney that it is often hard for the cast members to keep up. My suggestion is to call your Disney resort where you will be staying and ask for a manager to see what they can do for you.

I know that when we have found a better rate for a reservation we can get the new one reserved and then cancel the old. Disney really does try to work with you for the best deals. One time we didn't even know about a bounce back for the campgrounds as they had never offered that before and the reservationist informed us of the savings and was very helpful. Tickets can be a different story. Special event tickets cannot be refunded such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. But you can upgrade regular tickets when you arrive.

Your best bet for a final answer is to call the resort manager and see what they can do for you. They are always looking to make the extra magic happen so hopefully you will get the better rate.
