Bianca Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased tickets for 2 Disney parks to use from March 3 to 6, 2026. I need to change my trip to July 2026. Would I be able to change the dates of my tickets? How can I do that? And how far in advance of the original ticket dates can I make the change?

    Hi Bianca,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us. I certainly know that plans change - it happens! I recently had to change my own plans to visit Walt Disney World. I should have been there today enjoying the first of several Dole Whips! Thanks to my son's sports schedule, we needed to shift our trip to later in the year. Luckily, Disney makes it very easy to do this.

To change the start date of your date-based tickets, simply head to the My Disney Experience app and tap the menu icon in the lower right corner (☰). Then, tap My Tickets & Passes. Find the ticket(s) you want to modify and tap "Change Ticket." You have until 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the day before your ticket's first valid use date to make changes, but don't wait too long! You don't want to miss that deadline, so do this as soon as you're able.

If you booked a vacation package, you may not be able to make this change yourself without contacting the resort for help. So if that's the case, or if you have any other trouble making the change in your app, give Guest Services a call using the number on this page. They'll be more than happy to help.

I hope this helps, Bianca. If you need any additional help with planning come on back. We'll see ya real soon!
