We purchased our tickets through the Disney app, so does that mean they are already considered a group to use for the Virtual Queue? Or do we need to do more so that we can request board passes on day of our visit?

Hi there, Peggy! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you have a trip to the Disneyland Resort planned soon and I'm so excited for you! If you purchased your theme park tickets through the Disneyland app, then they should all be automatically linked to your account. This means that when you try to join a virtual queue, your party should already be pre-selected. You can also double check to see if all the tickets are linked to your app by tapping the "More" icon (three horizontal lines) and then tapping "Tickets and Passes." If for some reason the tickets aren't linked, you can manually link them by tapping "Link Tickets and Passes."

It's also a good idea for the rest of your party to link the tickets to their apps as well. This will not only allow them to use the eTickets to enter the theme parks, but if multiple members want to try for a virtual queue, they will all have the same party linked.

Keep in mind that the virtual queues for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure open at 7:00 a.m. (PST) each day and you do not need to be in the parks or even near the parks to join in the morning. If you don't end up getting a boarding group during the first release, you can try again at noon, but you must be in the parks for that second virtual queue release.

I hope this helps! Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
