I purchased 10 tickets in December 2019 to use by 12/31/2020, is this expiration date extended due to COVID-19 and the closure of the park in 2020?

    Hi there, Sonya!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for the question!

So far, the Disneyland Resort has announced expiration date extensions for a few different promotional theme park ticket types including Southern California Resident Tickets, Canada Resident Tickets and 2020 Military Salute Tickets. Please check the Disneyland Resort website for more information about the new ticket expiration dates for these promotional ticket offers. Non-promotional single day tickets that expire on December 30, 2020 will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021.

If your ticket type has not been extended and you're unable to visit before expiration, don't worry! According to eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. When you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth and, ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.

If you have additional questions, please reach out to Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. A Cast Member would be happy to assist you further.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! We hope to welcome you back very soon!
