Hey there, hi here, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney. Oh boy! You are scheduled to arrive very soon! Let's get you an answer.
Currently, all Guests must have both a ticket and
theme park ticket reservation in order to enter the parks at Disneyland Resort. So, unfortunately, if you do not have a reservation, you will not be able to get into the parks. You said you purchased tickets for a specific day, and I'm wondering if you might not already have reservations. If you purchased the tickets through Disneyland's website, you pick a date and that makes a reservation for you when you complete your purchase.
Let me walk you through the steps to double-check to see if you have reservations. First, you will need to log in to your Disney account on the Disneyland website. Next, hover over "My Disneyland" on the menu bar and click on "
Ticket and Reservation Details". On the next page, click on "View My Park Reservations". Now you will be able to see if any tickets linked to your account have theme park reservations on this next page.
If no reservations are showing then most likely that means you don't have reservations. I would keep checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar. I actually see availability for one park per day tickets and park hoppers for your date at the time of writing this. Please note that the calendar is fluid and constantly changes as Guests reserve and cancel reservations. I've also had success looking at the calendar late at night the day before and getting reservations.
Lisa, I hope that this information helps you get the theme park reservations that you need. Don't give up! We hope to see you real soon!
Carrie
