If you go this route, you’ll simply want to link your tickets within the
My Disney Experience mobile app and you should be able to purchase
Disney Genie+ from there!
Once you have your Theme Park tickets, you’ll want to add their codes into the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you’re getting the tickets physically, the codes will probably be on the back of the tickets. If you’re getting them digitally, the codes will probably come via email or the tickets may have one confirmation number for all of them. Either way, you’ll want to have those codes handy when signing into the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Once in the app, click the three lines in the lower right-hand corner. Scroll to the bottom and click “Link to Account”, select “Link Tickets or Passes”, and under “Ticket or Pass”, you will be able to add the codes for your tickets. Once entered, your party’s tickets should come up under “Tickets and Passes". Next, don't forget to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations! Both a Disney Park Pass and ticket are needed for each person entering the Theme Parks at this time.
Now that your tickets are linked, you’ll want to
follow these steps to add Disney Genie+ for one day or all of your vacation! At 7:00 a.m. on the day(s) you have Disney Genie+, you’ll be able to select your first
Lightning Lane. After that one is used or two hours after Theme Park opening (whichever comes first), you can select other. Throughout the day, you’ll want to keep checking the My Disney Experience mobile app because every two hours, you can book a new Lightning Lane (subject to availability)!
