    We have purchased tickets for the Christmas Party for Thu, Dec 20th but it looks like its going to rain. Will the event be cancelled? Is it possible to exchange tickets for another day?

    Hi Amandeep! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Your Christmas vacation is SO close now! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun event and will put you in the holiday spirit right away. With snow on Main Street, U.S.A., characters dressed in their holiday outfits, assorted food and beverage offerings (the eggnog is my favorite!), and much, much more, you will enjoy every minute of the magic!

    The events at the Walt Disney World Resort continue rain or shine and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are non-refundable. If you are interested in a possible date change, you will need to contact Disney directly at (407) 939-5277 to see if they will be able to offer that. Since dates do sell out, an exchange may not be an option. The good news is that many activities are indoors or under shelter like attractions, treat stations, and character meet-and-greets. For outdoor activities like the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes fireworks show, donning a poncho while you find your spot is a good idea! Some of my favorite memories have happened during rainy days at "The Most Magical Place on Earth," so I speak from experience!
