Hey there Tony,
Welcome to back to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm happy to hear you're starting to plan your next trip to the Disneyland resort.
Typically, standard
theme park tickets will expire within a year or two of their original purchase. The easiest place that I've found to check this is the original purchase confirmation email you received when you bought the tickets (just search "Disneyland Confirmation" in your email inbox).
However, even when standard theme park tickets expire, you still have some options! With most standard theme park tickets, you can apply the value of those tickets toward the purchase of new theme park tickets of equal or greater value. To do this, you'll need to
call a Cast Member at the Tickets line who can check your old tickets and confirm your options with you.
In general, this is a really great time to visit the parks! If you get there before the end of October, you'll be just in time to experience the
Halloween season. Then, starting November 15, the
Holiday season kicks off! The
Disney Parks Blog is a really great resource to read more about all the fun that's happening around the Happiest Place on Earth, so once you pick the dates of your visit, make sure to check there for all the news you need to know.
Thanks again for your question, Tony! I hope you have a great visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
