    I purchased tickets for August and wanted to get the magic band. I read where Magic bands are phasing out, but when I called Disney, the recording said you can use your magic band to enter. Are these still going to be used in August?

    I am happy to tell you to go ahead and purchase your dream MagicBands! This beloved all-in-one device is still used at The Most Magical Place on Earth and there are so many incredible new designs that it is hard to pick just one! In the past, Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel received complimentary MagicBands, but now they have the option to purchase them up to 10 days before arrival at special pre-arrival prices. All Guests can purchase MagicBands online or at select merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    planDisney tip: As you prepare for your visit, be sure to learn about Disney MagicMobile! This convenient service is available for iPhone and Apple Watch users, and eligible Google Pay-enabled Android smartphones, and allows Guests to enter the theme parks by holding their device near an access point. After linking theme park tickets to your Disney account, use the My Disney Experience app to create a MagicMobile pass, add it to your digital wallet and go enjoy your day at the parks!
