Hey there, James!
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney! It's great to hear that you have purchased your
theme park admission tickets for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You are one planning step closer to counting down the days until you take in all the cool Disney experiences that await you.
It sounds like you used the
My Disney Experience mobile app to purchase your theme park admission tickets, and I think that's great. I find the My Disney Experience mobile app a cool and convenient tool for easily managing so many aspects of a Walt Disney World Resort trip -- theme park reservations, dining reservations, virtual queues, mobile food ordering, and the always-handy attraction wait times and interactive maps.
I am going to take a guess that you want to make a theme park reservation using the
Disney Park Pass system, and that's really quick and easy to do. I use the version of the app available on the Apple app store, and there are two quick ways to access the Disney Park Pass system. On the app's home screen you can tap the plus sign icon and you should see a tile you can tap to "Make a Park Reservation." On the app's home screen, at the moment, there's also featured content to "Make Theme Park Reservations." Both of these ways to access the app will prompt you to sign in to your Disney account if you have not already done so, and will then take you into the Disney Park Pass system .
Once you're signed in to your Disney account and you're in the Disney Park Pass system, you need only complete a few steps to make your reservation. The first step is to select from your "My Family & Friends List" anyone who's going to the theme park. The next step is to use the interactive calendar to select the date you plan to visit the theme park. The next step is to select which of the four Walt Disney World theme parks you want to visit. The final step is to review and confirm your selection. It's that quick and simple, and you can repeat the process to make additional reservations. These few steps are the same whether you're using the Disney Park Pass system from the mobile app or from the My Disney Experience area of the
Walt Disney World website.
One thing you'll want to do along with making your theme park reservation is check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see what the availability looks like for the date you want to go into a park. If there is no availability, you'll see a message explaining that there are no more Disney Park Pass selections available.
James, hopefully this quick how-to helps you make your Walt Disney World Resort theme park reservations. If you encounter any issues, or need some additional guidance, you can always reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort Internet Help Desk by calling (407) 939-4357.
Here's wishing you an awesome vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
