Hi Jeffrey,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for coming to us with a question!
As is customary, I have to celebrate that you have tickets to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! There have been some
updates to ticket policies and modification procedures. If you purchased your tickets through a third-party vendor, you will need to contact that vendor to discuss modifying the tickets. If you purchased them through the Walt Disney World Resort, you can try to modify them online through your
My Disney Experience account. Or, if you prefer, call 407-566-4985 to request to modify your tickets. Be advised that tickets for your new dates may be more expensive.
If you have not done so already, link those tickets so that you can also check the expiration dates. If you are using a computer, just log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and then click on the tab that says Tickets and Memory Maker. I like to use the
My Disney Experience Mobile app to check my ticket expiration dates. In the mobile app, just click on Tickets and Passes. I also suggest that you go ahead and identify the new dates that you would prefer to visit. Check the
Availability Calendar of the
Disney Park Pass system to see if there is park availability for your new dates.
Once you select those new dates and make sure your tickets are linked, make your Disney Park Pass system reservations. If you have not yet reserved accommodations, I do hope you consider staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. My family adores deluxe and deluxe villa resorts because of the fabulous dining options they typically include!
Jeffrey, I trust that you will sort out those tickets and get settled with new dates! As you continue to plan, keep your eye on the
operational updates since policies and procedures may be modified. And, whenever you decide to visit, know that we are looking forward to welcoming you back to a
world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
