Hi! I purchased a ticket for my younger sister who is only 16 and doesn't have a drivers license or ID yet, she will be going to the park alone with only two of her friends, how can they provide proof of residency? Do student IDs work?

You must be the best big sister ever! Your sister and her friends are going to have the best time! I just got back from the most amazing trip to the Happiest Place on Earth and I had a blast! The Cast Members are so happy to be back and are making sure that enhanced health and safety measures are in place. From riding my favorite attractions to enjoying all of my favorite Disney food again, I felt totally immersed in the Magic!

As you know, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are currently only open to California residents. When you make your theme park reservation online, you must attest that you are a California resident and the system will not allow you to make a reservation if you are from out of state. Typically, those 18 and under are not asked for identification as some may not have a government issued ID or Driver’s License. I would tell your sister to take her student ID just in case. Also, make sure that her information in her Disney Account is up to date showing a California address.
