hello i purchased a ticket in 2016 but never used it because my son passed away and i was not ready. Has my ticket expired at this point?

    Hi Kiana -

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to be of assistance.

First, let me send my utmost condolences regarding the loss of your son. I can understand you not being ready to travel or vacation during your time of grieving. I hope that with each passing day you are able to experience a bit more peace after your monumental loss.

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort is continuing to honor valid theme park tickets with remaining admission days. Theme park tickets purchased after 2004 expire 14 days after their first use, so as long as the ticket is unused it should still be valid. To check and make sure your ticket is still valid, I encourage you to reach out to a Cast Member that specializes in Existing Tickets, or use this handy online email form and select "Existing Ticket Inquiries" as the subject. Any information you can provide them regarding the purchase date and ticket number will be helpful.

I hope that soon you'll be ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort to recharge and create some happy memories in The Most Magical Place on Earth.

Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Kiana. I hope you'll come back with any questions you may think of before your visit - we would love to help add a little extra magic to your Disney vacation.
