Hello Susie, and welcome to planDisney!
Wow! In just a few sleeps, you will be on your way to the Walt Disney World Resort to join in the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Your students will have an amazing time.
You will need to create a
My Disney Experience account for your student, that you can manage for them. To create an account open the app online or in the mobile app. Tap the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Scroll down to
My Profile and select the
Family & Friends List tab. Scroll all the way down to
+Add a Guest. If your student has their own My Disney Experience account, you can
Scan their Linking Code to add them to your list. Otherwise, you can enter their name and age and that you will manage plans for this Guest. This will allow you to add theme park admission to your student and make Park Pass Reservations for them.
Once you have created their account, you can assign the unused ticket from the student who was unable to attend, to her replacement. Your student still needs to have a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for each day they hold a valid admission ticket. At this time, the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar shows all parks are at capacity for the first day of your visit, with limited to no availability for the remainder of the week. You may want to keep checking for openings due to the fact that other Guests may have a change of plans and allow some spots to open up for your student.
You could also reach out to a Cast Member in the Existing Tickets team at (407) 934-7639 to explain your unique situation to see if there is any Pixie Dust they can sprinkle on your plans. I would suggest calling early at 7:00 AM to minimize your wait times.
Susie, I am sending you all the magic in the hopes that you can snag Park Pass reservations for your student.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
