Hello.. I purchased a ticket for my son back in 2017 and he lost it. He recently moved and found it. Can we still use this ticket?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Carla!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for submitting this question. I’m so happy to hear that your son found his long-lost Disneyland Resort theme park ticket! I bet that was a magical surprise.

I have great news for you, Carla. Even after a ticket’s expiration date, the price you paid for a totally unused, non-promotional ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price! Tell your son to put his ticket in a safe place and bring it with him the next time he visits the Main Entrance Ticket Booths at the Happiest Place on Earth so it can be used as credit toward a valid theme park ticket.

I hope this answers your question, Carla. If you or your son have any other planning questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by again. We’d love to help make your vacation dreams a pixie-dusted reality!

    Wishing you magic,
