Hi Ethan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Ethan, it all depends on how many days you booked and when the ticket expires. If you only purchased a one day ticket, yes, you’d need to use it on the day you selected. That means you’d need to keep your current
Disney Park Pass reservation that you have.
Now if you have a multi-day ticket, check out
this page for the typical expiration timeline. For example, if you have a 2-day ticket, your ticket expires four days after your selected start date. So, any of those days leading up to the expiration, you’re able to use your 2-day ticket. You can use them consecutively or on different days. With a multi-day ticket, you have more flexibility with moving around your Disney Park Passes.
If you only have a 1-day ticket, you’ll need to stick with the Park reservation that you have. If you have a
Park Hopper ticket, you can start in the Park you have a reservation for then hop over to another at 2:00 p.m. And if you don’t have a Park Hopper ticket, you can always adjust that with
Guest Relations before you scan into the Theme Park.
One final tip: Try seeing if you can adjust your Saturday Park reservation to the Park you really want to go to. Sometimes, with just one person, you may be able to adjust because availability changes often!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful for your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
