If I purchased a ticket with a park hopper option but want to take that off is it possible to modify to just a one park ticket?

Hi Haley and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for sending your ticket question our way.  I am happy to help!  Park hopping is such a great way to make the most out of your Walt Disney World vacation.  It gives you the flexibility to visit more than one park per day and experience as much as possible.  I love starting my day in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and riding on the back of a banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage in Pandora and then ending my day watching the fireworks in Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park.

Answering ticket questions can be a little bit tricky since it's unknown what type of ticket you currently have.  I reached out to a friendly Cast Member to get the best answer for you and here is what I was told.  If your theme park tickets were purchased on their own and not part of a package, you can change them to a one park per day ticket, however, you would not get a refund for the difference in price so there really is no advantage to doing that.  If your tickets are part of a Walt Disney World vacation package, you can change them for the price difference, but there may be a modification fee if you're within 30 days of your upcoming vacation.  The best advice I have for you is to reach out to Walt Disney World Tickets so they can access your account and tell you exactly what your options are.

Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
