I just purchased my ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I've got a park hopper reservation for Hollywood Studios that day. I know I can't park-hop till 2 and party admission starts at 4. Can I get into Magic Kingdom at 2 or 4?

Hello Becky, and welcome back to planDisney!

I am thrilled with ghoulish delight to hear that you will be attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. The spirits are busy planning a hauntingly good time in anticipation of your arrival. They have added a few new faces to Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. You will still be able to see your favorite Disney Characters dressed in Halloween costumes. New this year is Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Jack Skellington will be your host during this nighttime fireworks show inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Becky, since you are a Guest with the Park Hopper Option added to your theme park tickets, you will be able to enter the Magic Kingdom at 2:00 PM. You can even make Genie+ selections until the park’s closing time of 6:00 PM. Madame Leota is sending me a message from beyond. She wants me to let you know that you will not need to leave the park to check in for the party. You will be able to check in while you are inside the Magic Kingdom. Wristband distribution begins at 4:00 PM in the City Hall area. A Cast Member would be happy to scan your MagicBand, MagicMobile pass, or admission card, to confirm your party ticket and fit you with a wristband that will allow you to join the party when it starts. If you are enjoying your time in the Magic Kingdom, no need to rush to get your wristband, just make sure that you have it before the park closes at 6:00 PM. Otherwise, you will not be able to continue enjoying attractions, shopping, or dining until you receive one.

There are so many fun experiences during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in addition to parades, fireworks, and shows. This party is my favorite because as an adult, I can dress up in a Halloween costume and Trick-or-Treat throughout the park with my family. Be sure to review the costuming guidelines before you go. I also love the special Halloween treats and snacks offered only during the party too. Let Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers capture your most spellbinding moments during the event. No party is complete without party favors! You will find exclusive Halloween merchandise on sale in various retail locations in the park. Madame Leota is sending me one final message. She says that you will have a frightfully good time.

    Happy Halloween,
    Andrea
