Hey there Melissa! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your question!
I'm happy to hear that your daughter's friend can now join you for your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit. It also sounds like you've already purchased the ticket and made the reservation, which is extra good news because it seems like
reservations are booking up fast this month. If the name is blank or you have another name on the ticket you will be fine as long as the ticket is unused. Assigning a name to the ticket on your account is more so for you to be able to easily differentiate multiple tickets. The ticket will not officially be assigned until it is scanned for the first time at the parks. When it's activated with a scan at the turnstile, a wonderful Cast Member will take her picture and that is what will assign the ticket to her.
My Disneyland pro tip for you would be to make sure you have the
Disneyland app downloaded ahead of your visit. This is going to be your go-to guide for your day at the park. I also recommend adding a credit card to your profile in the app for added convenience. This will make the purchasing process easier if you want to use
Disney Genie+. The other reason is so you are all set up for
mobile ordering. This is one of my favorite perks of having the Disneyland app. Mobile ordering makes it so much easier for me when I'm at the parks and outnumbered by my kids. It allows us to order from multiple places within a few minutes and schedule pick-up times so that I'm not waiting in four different lines trying to get food for everyone. Plus, how fun is it to be able to order a snack to be ready for pick up when you get off your favorite ride?!
Melissa, I hope you all have a fantastic time visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. Be sure to stop back by again with any other questions you might have! See you real soon!
