I purchased a ticket for a friend but she can’t make it. Although the tickets has her name can I bring someone else?

    Hello, Suleyma,

I’m sorry to hear your friend will no longer be able to make it to the Disneyland Resort with you. Hopefully, she’ll be able to make it with you another time. Yes, as long as the ticket with your friend’s name associated with it is wholly unused, you may bring someone else to use her ticket instead. The names you may see with a Disney eTicket or tied to a ticket in the Disneyland app are there for your convenience in keeping track of which ticket is used by which guest in your party. But it is OK if the name on an eTicket or in the app doesn’t match exactly with the guest that uses the ticket. As long as the ticket is not transferred to a different guest after it is used for park admission for the first time, you are free to use it for someone else.

I imagine your friend still wishes you to have a fun time while you are at the Disneyland Resort. You may want to take advantage of the Disney PhotoPass service. Your PhotoPass photos will help you remember and share with your friends the happy memories of your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. And if you have Disney MaxPass included with or purchased as an add-on for your tickets, you may get unlimited downloads of your PhotoPass photos for each day that MaxPass is active on your tickets.

    Have a magical time, Suleyma!
