I purchased a ticket for a family member who can no longer come. Can I bring someone else? Will I have to change the name on the ticket?

    Hi Natasha! Welcome to planDisney.

First of all, a big Mickey-gloved high five to you for your generosity. I've received some really wonderful Disney pixie-dust from my family members over the years, and I've appreciated those generous gifts so very much. I think it's lovely that you purchased a ticket to the Disneyland Resort for someone special, and I'm sorry to hear they can't come. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding someone who is happy to join the fun!

You have two options, Natasha. You may call a friendly Cast Member in Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and ask to change the name on your ticket. Your other option is to speak to a Cast Member at the turnstiles when you arrive at the theme park - they will take pictures of each member of your group and assign the tickets to you then. Note that once a ticket is assigned and used, all remaining days on the ticket must be used by the same person.

If you haven't already made Theme Park Reservations for your visit, be sure to do so as soon as you can. With limited capacity due to the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, there are some days where reservations are no longer available. For more important details about visiting the Disneyland Resort, please see the Returning to a Land of Magic webpage.

Thanks for stopping by with this question. I hope you have the BEST time at The Happiest Place on Earth! Please come back and see us if you think of any more questions as you plan and dream.

    Wishing you a magical visit,
    Robyn
