Greetings, Leslie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I adored everything about Coco – the music, the fabulously colorful animation, and, of course, the unbelievably heartwarming story. So I was really excited when the
Plaza de la Familia was added to Disney California Adventure Park last fall and when it returned again this year. This is where you can watch the Musical Celebration of Coco that performs throughout the afternoon each day. If you have a one-day one park per day ticket, you will need to decide to visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park on that day. In order to experience both parks in one day, you will need to upgrade your ticket to a Park Hopper. This can be done at a ticket booth for an additional $50 per ticket.
I wholeheartedly recommend
Park Hopper tickets. It is so easy to hop between parks because they are only a short walk away from each other. With a Park Hopper ticket, you could spend your morning in Disneyland Park riding classic attractions like “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain, then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park after lunch for all the Coco offerings, to see the new Pixar Pier,
have dinner at one of the many restaurants in this park, and then hop back over to Disneyland Park for fireworks at the end of the night. Park Hopper tickets really give you the complete Disneyland Resort experience.
I hope this helps! Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
