Hello, Joon,
I appreciate your question for us here at planDisney. I understand your concern and appreciate your desire to stay safe and healthy. The Disneyland Resort has made great efforts to help maintain a safe environment for Guests and Cast Members. The
theme park reservation system makes up a part of those efforts.
Understandably, park reservations will need to be canceled at times. Fortunately, the Disneyland Resort allows for flexibility for Guests to reschedule those theme park reservations. While
theme park tickets are
nonrefundable, they may still be used through their date of expiration.
Your ticket’s expiration date may be found in the confirmation email you may have received at the time of purchase. Or you may find it in the Tickets and Passes screen of the
Disneyland app. If you don’t happen to have an opportunity to use your theme park ticket before its expiration date, the amount paid for most standard tickets may be applied toward the cost of a new ticket of equal or greater value, provided the original ticket is wholly unused.
Tony’s Tip: As you make plans to reschedule your theme park reservation, you may want to keep an eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar. Even if you may not be re-scheduling your visit right away, the calendar will show you patterns of when certain dates begin to be filled up, especially around popular weekends and holidays.
As you look forward to rescheduling your visit to the Disneyland Resort, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. There, you’ll find announcements of upcoming
entertainment,
food offerings, tips for
experiencing the latest attractions, and more.
Please come visit us at planDisney if you have any more questions, Joon. See ya real soon!
