We have purchased three (3) regular one-day admission for a trip next month to Animal Kingdom. We would like to upgrade these to Park Hopper tickets. How do we do this?

    Hi there, Valerie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm happy to help!

I'm so excited to hEAR you're planning to add a little extra magic to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by upgrading your Theme Park Tickets by adding the Park Hopper Option! I love having the ability to visit more than one theme park on the same day - even all four if I'm feeling adventurous! I always recommend Park Hopper tickets to maximize your park days and maximize the MAGIC.

It's super easy to upgrade your tickets through the My Disney Experience mobile app. On the home page of the app, choose the menu option in the bottom right hand of the screen. Select "Tickets and Passes", and you'll be able to see a list of the Theme Park Tickets linked to your account. Choose the ticket(s) you'd like to upgrade, and you'll see the option to "Change Ticket". You can change the Valid Ticket Dates, Number of Days, or Ticket Type. To add the Park Hopper Option, select "Ticket Type", and you'll be given options for your upgrade. Once you've selected the Ticket Type, you'll see the cost for the upgrade, and you can go to Check Out and pay the balance.

During Walt Disney World's phased reopening, there are guidelines Guests will need to follow when using the Park Hopper Option. You'll need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you'd like to visit (in your case, Disney's Animal Kingdom). You must physically enter that park by scanning a MagicBand, theme park ticket, or using Disney's MagicMobile service at the point of entry before you can hop to a second (or third, or fourth!) theme park after 2pm. The ability to "hop" to another park is subject to that park's capacity limitations. (I've been to Walt Disney World numerous times since Park Hopping was reintroduced, and so far have had no issues with park capacity limitations affecting us being able to visit other parks.)

I hope this helps, and you can easily upgrade your tickets and be ready to Park Hop during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Have a magical time!
