Hey there, Patricia, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for your question - this is a good one! I can definitely relate that sometimes plans change, and luckily there are quite a few options for moving around your
theme park reservations for an upcoming trip. The exact answer very much depends on the types of tickets you ended up purchasing.
For example, if you
purchased multi-day passes (for two or more days) then you can adjust your theme park reservations in the "My Plans" section under the "My Disneyland" header on the
Disneyland Resort website. With these tickets, you should have quite a bit of flexibility to choose a new date for your trip up. You can check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar for more details on what is available up to 120 days out.
If you purchased single-day tickets and would like to visit on
a day with a higher tier then you will likely need to pay the difference, so I would recommend
speaking with a Cast Member at the Tickets line for this particular scenario.
It looks like you're asking your question from California, so if you purchased the new
California Resident Ticket Offer (for those within ZIP codes 90000 to 96199) then there will be specific dates that you're able to visit based on the level of ticket you purchased. The baseline offer allows you to visit Monday to Thursday, but there is also an upgraded offer where you can visit Monday to Sunday with no blockout dates. You should be able to find which level you purchased in your confirmation email and can check the
California Resident Offer Ticket Availability Calendar to check for your upcoming dates.
Thanks again for your question, Patricia! If you still have more detailed questions based on your specific tickets, I would recommend
calling the Tickets line - they should be able to help! I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
