Welcome to planDisney Byron!
You must be so excited to be traveling to Walt Disney World with your grandkids! It is so special traveling with little ones as you never know how they will react when Mickey Mouse dances by on a parade float or the first time they see Cinderella Castle. Everything is magical!
Your friend is correct. Let's walk through the steps:
* Purchase your
Theme Park Tickets (you did this so check it off!)
* Make sure you have a
My Disney Experience Account. Add each member of your travel party to your account.
* Go to the
LINKING PAGE to link your tickets
* Make your park reservations by going to the
THEME PARK RESERVATION PAGE. Select your dates and parks.
Hopefully, you have already figured this all out and have your Park Reservations secured. You are going during a busy week and many parks do not have availability. If you run into that problem, book whatever park you can. Since you have the Park Hopper, you can switch parks after 2pm without a reservation. Continue to check as guests are always moving reservations around so something may appear. If still no luck, stop by the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel to see if they can assist, or
give a call to a friendly Cast Member. I'm not sure what can be done, but it never hurts to ask for assistance.
Other fun experiences that do NOT require reservations include
Disney Springs,
Winter Summerland Mini-golf, and Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
I hope you get your reservations secured and get to make magical memories with your darling grandchildren!
