Jason, thank you for visiting planDisney! I am sure you are looking forward to your upcoming visit to
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, I haven’t had the chance to stay here yet, but I recently saw that there will be a new addition to the Disney Vacation Club,
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, that look like they would be a great fit for my family.
There have been many changes recently with ticket types and reservation requirements, but I've got you covered.
Theme Park Tickets are considered to be date-based, meaning that you need to choose a day to visit the parks, or if you buy a multiple-day ticket, you will have a date range for when those tickets can be used. Since you have reservations at a
Disney Resort Collection property, your date-based tickets are likely to align with the duration of your stay. Luckily, as of January 9, 2024, date-based tickets no longer require a park reservation, however, park access is subject to capacity limits. Simply show up at the park of your choice, and you are good to go! If you purchased the Park Hopper Option, you will be able to visit multiple parks on the same day.
Jason, don’t forget about the available,
complimentary transportation. When staying at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will have access to transportation via bus, boat, monorail, and Disney Skyliner (highly recommended)!
I hope this answers your question, Jason. Please come back to planDisney if you need any additional planning assistance!
