Just purchased 4 out of state annual passes. Trying to find out when we will get the clip on tag for magic band identifying us as annual pass holders? We already have magic bands, just want the clips and car decal.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kevin, and welcome to the Annual Passholder family!

Being a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder means you are carrying magic around with you at all times. That feeling of knowing that you could “pop over” to The Most Magical Place on Earth anytime you want, even just to grab a Dole Whip and watch the birds sing words, is the BEST. You have the keys to the kingdom, Kevin!

There are so many great perks of being an Annual Passholder, including fantastic dining, merchandise, special event, and even resort hotel room discounts. Part of letting all that magic begin is getting set up with your swag: your Annual Passholder MagicBand slider, and your Mickey Mouse Passholder car magnet.

Usually, the Annual Passholder slider comes in the MagicBand box when you order your Annual Passholder MagicBand. Once you activate the Annual Pass, you’ll be able to go into your My Disney Experience account, select “My Profile,” and then select “Magic Bands & Cards.” From there, if you have a linked Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass, you should see the option to add a new Passholder Magic Band. (Side note: this isn’t a custom band with a Passholder design; you’ll select from the regular available options.)

You mention that you already have MagicBands, but I’m not sure if you mean from a previous visit or if you’ve already received those Passholder bands. The Annual Passholder slider comes in the box with the Annual Passholder bands, and you do have to search a little – mine was tucked into a side compartment. If you mean that you don’t need the Annual Passholder MagicBands because you already have MagicBands you like, I have two thoughts. One is: since it’s complimentary, order another set of bands (I see them as accessories, so love to have lots of different colors and styles), and the slider should come in the box. Or, call (407) WDW-PASS to ask about having just the slider shipped to your address. I’m not sure if they’re able to do that, but it’s worth asking.

As for the Annual Passholder car magnet, that will arrive at the address linked to your My Disney Experience account a few weeks after you activate the Annual Pass. Once you have that, you’re ready to start your collection. Usually, new magnets are available free of charge to Passholders at various times of year or at events; I usually find out about them on social media, but these new magnets are also posted on the Passholder Extras web page. Definitely plan to keep an eye on that page, as new offerings show up there all the time.

Welcome to the club, Kevin, and see ya real soon!

    Have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day,
    Robyn
