Seasons greetings, Lauryn!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this magical question! As a big fan of the Holiday season, I am always so happy to answer questions like this and spread some Holiday chEAR. Plus, there is no better way to ring in the season than by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, so I cannot wait for you to experience all
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has to offer!
As you probably noticed, special events tickets vary in price depending on the date selected. This means that your ticket is only valid for that specific date when you purchase a special event ticket. In this case, the policy states that these tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but it does not say whether or not you would be able to change the date and pay the price difference. Therefore, I highly suggest you
reach out to the ticketing center by phone, as they should be able to help further! These events have limited capacity, so make sure to call as soon as possible as some events may sell out.
Now, Lauryn, did you know that you can enjoy the Holidays even after your Christmas party has ended? Indeed, each theme park has its own Holiday traditions, and they make your visits so unique. One of my favourite activities is to visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Not only do you get to try food from around the world, but you can also learn about Holiday traditions as you walk through the World Showcase! If you have little ones in your party, definitely look into getting the Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt (though I think it is a lot of fun for dreamers of all ages!) Those with a sweet tooth in your party can also participate in the
Holiday Cookie Stroll, where you have to get a cookie from each of the selected booths. Both of these activities will give you a complimentary prize upon completion! End the day by watching the
Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre, and voilà! You have the perfect EPCOT day planned.
I hope this was helpful, Lauryn, and that you will be able to experience all the Holiday fun this year. If you have any other questions or want to know about the unique offerings you can enjoy, don't hesitate to reach out. You've got a friend in us!
Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly day!
