I purchased the special Canadian Resident tickets prior to Covid. Disney extended the deadline for those tickets once, but as of today the Cda/US border is still closed. Has the deadline for these tickets been further extended? Thx.

    Hi Terrence,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your question.  As a fellow Canadian I can't wait to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth, once travel restrictions have been lifted!  I don't know about you, but I am dreaming about the time when I can catch a glimpse of Sleeping Beauty Castle while enjoying a delicious Mickey-shaped Beignet from Mint Julep Bar!

You are absolutely correct that the expiry date for the Canadian Resident Tickets has been extended to December 16, 2021.  While there has been no news regarding extending the expiry date once again due to the extended border closure, you will still be able to use the value of your wholly unused Theme Park Tickets to purchase new Theme Park Tickets when the time comes to travel again.  Hold on to your Theme Park Tickets and a Cast Member will help transfer the value when you are ready.

While us Canadians are over here waiting for cross-border travel to resume, be sure to check out all of the new and exciting experiences available at Disneyland Resort.  I can't wait to tour Avengers Campus, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure looks amazing!

Sending extra Pixie Dust in hope the border opens soon and you will be able to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort, Terrence.  If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
