Hi Joe, welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for bringing your ticket-linking question to planDisney and, most importantly, thank you for your service. Virginia is for lovers of magical experiences, which are found in abundance at Walt Disney World Resort during the
50th Anniversary Celebration.
I'm sorry you're having trouble linking your
Disney Military Salute Tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. Valid admission and theme park reservations are currently required for park entry so now is the time to work through this tech trouble together. I successfully linked a Disney Military Salute Ticket in the
My Disney Experience mobile app last month and would be happy to walk you through the steps that worked for me.
1. Log into your account and press the three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen
2. Click "Tickets and Passes."
3. Click the plus sign at the top right of the screen and "Link Tickets and Passes."
4. Enter a ticket's ID code. The ID code I entered was the 16-character ID code found on the back of my exchange voucher
plus the four characters that I had to scratch off to reveal. My exchange voucher was a plastic card with a red, white, and blue Mickey design on the front. Exchange vouchers also come in the form of a cardstock ticket or a piece of paper with Guest names and ticket numbers. My exchange voucher was separate from the order confirmation printout I received.
5. Once you click "Submit" and the ticket is validated (fingers crossed!), assign the ticket to you or a member of my Family and Friends list. If you are attempting to link a friend or family member's ticket using your account and they have their own My Disney Experience account, make sure you are connected as
Family and Friends before linking. If members of your planning party do not wish to have their own My Disney Experience accounts, click "Add a Guest" and their plans will be managed under your account. Repeat the linking process for each ticket.
Once your tickets are linked, check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar and proceed with making your
theme park reservations. Disney Military Salute Tickets also require in-person activation before entering your first park, which can be done at a
Guest Relations window located outside the entrance to each park or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Valid Military ID must be shown.
Plan magic; planDisney.
