We purchased 2 single-day tickets and would like to add a third. The overall cost of adding 1 more single day ticket would cost more than the 3-day ticket price. Are we able to apply the amount we've already paid towards a 3-day ticket package?

Hey there, Lee! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your question. It's always so wonderful to see a fellow Guest from the great Pacific Northwest here!

I'm always in favor of extending a visit to the Disneyland Resort. To me, the magic is simply multiplied! I think I understand your question is related to applying the value of your existing ticket purchase toward a multi-day ticket. The great news is that yes, a valid theme park ticket may be upgraded to a new ticket purchase of equal value, or greater! You have a few options to complete a ticket upgrade.

    • Visit the ticket booths at the Main Entrance when you arrive on-site at Disneyland Resort.
    • Call the Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member by phone.
    • Use the official Disneyland mobile app and select the '☰' feature to locate the "Chat with Us" icon.
Be sure to mention the details of your single-day tickets and I recommend having the confirmation numbers on hand when you call or chat with a Cast Member for ease of correspondence. Given that you have purchased 1-day tickets, it is possible that the value of only one ticket may be applied toward your desired upgrade to a 3-day ticket, but a Cast Member will be able to verify the specific terms and conditions of your ticket purchase.

I suggest that you also view the theme park reservation availability calendar to ensure that there are park reservations open on the days you plan to visit. The reason for this is that a ticket upgrade will typically cancel your existing park reservations and you will need to make new ones associated with your new ticket(s). The Cast Members on-site or by phone and the mobile app will be able to confirm this, but I suggest you bring up your questions about securing park reservations at the same time you discuss the ticket upgrade.

I hope these suggestions are useful to you, Lee. If we can help with anything else as you gear up for your next visit, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again, here at planDisney! I hope you will be able to make some time to view the new nighttime spectaculars in honor of the Disney100 Celebration this year. They are both beautiful and moving displays of the legacy of Disney storytelling that has captured our hearts for so many decades!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
