We have purchased single park tickets, can we leave the park and go back to our resort hotel then return to the same park later that day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa. I hope you're having a Tigger-iffic week! Your magical vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth is right around the corner.

Regardless of single park tickets or Park Hoppers, all Guests are able to enter and exit the parks as they wish. With a single-day, single-park ticket, prior to exiting the park, have your hand stamped by a Cast Member at the gates. Then, head to your resort hotel to relax or enjoy the pool. When you're ready to return to the same park later in the day, simply present your admission ticket and the Cast Member will check your hand stamp for re-entry.

If you have a multi-day, single park admission ticket, the process is slightly different. Upon your first entry, the Cast Member at the gates will scan your ticket and take a photo of you. Your picture will be "attached" to the ticket. So each time you use your multi-day ticket for entry into the park, all the Cast Member has to do is scan your ticket and your photo will show up on their computer. Guests with multi-day, single park tickets (or multi-day Park Hoppers) will not require a hand stamp when they exit.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Melissa. I wish you and your family an unforgettable trip to the Disneyland Resort in August. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to visit us on the Panel again.

    Sending you Pixie Dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
