I purchased several tickets for a family trip last year but with the pandemic and the closure of the park out tickets were extended to January 12, 2021. Since the park is still closed, are the tickets extended to a further date or should we seek a refund?

    Hey Lussy!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so sorry to hear that you had to cancel your trip to the Disneyland Resort. Like you. I’m missing the Magic of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and can’t wait for my next visit. I would have grabbed an extra churro on my last visit to the parks if I knew it would be my last for a while. I know that the Disneyland Resort officials are working closely with local and state officials to ensure a safe reopening and when the times comes we'll all be ready!

It looks like your theme park tickets are part of the group of tickets that have been extended through the end of this year. Wholly unused non promotional multi-day tickets that were set to expire on January 12, 2021 have been extended through December 16, 2021. You’ll still have 13 days to use them but the last day has to be used by December 16. 2021. You can check and see if your tickets fall into this category.

I see you live in California. If you’re pretty close to the Disneyland Resort, there will be a new  limited-time ticketed experience inside Disneyland California Adventure Park. It will focus on the foods you love from around the resort. If you’re a foodie like me, then this experience is the perfect match! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more information very soon!

Well Lussy, thanks for stopping by today. If you have any more questions for us, please come back and let us know!
