Welcome to planDisney, Kathy!
Oh, bother! I'm so sorry to hEAR you had to cancel your previous Disneyland Resort trip. However, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I'm sure your rescheduled trip will be even more special.
Unfortunately, the expiration dates on Disneyland tickets cannot be extended. However, if you can't make it to the Disneyland Resort before your tickets expire, you'll be pleased to know that the original value of expired theme park tickets can always be applied towards the purchase of new tickets. You'll just have to pay any difference in price.
Here's what you need to do: call
"Tickets" at Guest Services and a helpful Cast Member will wave their magic wand and apply the value of your tickets to some new tickets. You'll just want to have your ticket details with you when you call.
There have been plenty of changes to the Disneyland Resort over the past couple of years, Kathy. Make sure you check out the
Disneyland Resort website,
Disney Parks Blog, and
planDisney podcast to keep up to date with all the new and exciting things happening, such as
MagicBand+,
Disney Genie+, and the
reimagining of Mickey's Toontown.
You should also be aware that Guests now need both a
valid ticket and
theme park reservation in order to visit their desired park. In order to be good, hospitable hosts, Mickey and Minnie like to know how many Guests they should expect each day. You can make theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. Since each park has a capacity limit, you'll want to make your reservations sooner rather than later. Check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to get an idea of park availability.
I hope that's helpful, Kathy. See ya real soon!
