Hey there Elizabeth,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question!
According to the
terms & conditions page, theme park tickets are nonrefundable. However, this ticket is definitely still usable for your next trip!
When you purchase your
theme park ticket from the Disneyland Resort website, you might assign tickets to different members of your party during the purchase process, but the names on your ticket are more to help you plan and get organized - they don't have to be used by that same person during your visit.
When you first enter a park with your ticket, the Cast Member at the entrance will take a quick photo of you that will be linked with the ticket you scanned to enter the park. This is what determines who can use that ticket for the rest of its duration.
Knowing this, the ticket you purchased on a different account is still completely usable by you or a member of your party! You can even link that ticket to the correct account in your
Disneyland mobile app so it's easily accessible. Just tap the menu button in the app, select "Tickets & Passes" and then "Link Tickets & Passes." Follow the on-screen prompts to link your ticket and then you're all set to use it to scan into the parks!
If you already purchased the tickets you need for your next upcoming visit, then this ticket can still be used for your next visit! And if it expires before you're able to visit again then you can apply the cost of the ticket toward the purchase of your next ticket.
If you still have any questions that I didn't cover, definitely
reach out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line. They'll be able to see the details and help you with your specific situation.
Thanks again for your question, Elizabeth! Enjoy your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
