Anthony from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello we just purchased our second cruise in January for the WISH and we haven’t received anything in the mail for cruise information like we did for the first cruise. Why is that?

Ahoy there, Anthony! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so glad you sailed our way with your question about pre-cruise information!

Ah, cruising in January - are you sure you're not a pro? That's one of my family's favorite times to cruise - mild weather (while still being tropical compared to a Midwestern winter...), fantastic sea states, lower crowds, and - usually - great deals to be had!

I know that looking forward to that first piece of mail about your cruise (we call it "Mickey Mail" in our house!) is part of the fun, but if you haven't yet received any for your January cruise, don't worry just yet! For our last cruise, we didn't receive our luggage tags and final information until almost the week of our sailing! Now, that's not to say that's becoming standard, but especially as the inaugural season of the Disney Wish ramps up, there's plenty to concentrate on for that first cruise!

Speaking of your first cruise, be sure to make note of when your booking window opens as well as your final payment date! With everything new and exciting to look forward to on the Disney Wish  - as well as more information yet to be revealed - you'll definitely going to want to be sure your October cruise is all set! Maybe by then, you'll have your January cruise information, as well as some great tips to share with your fellow Guests about how amazing the Disney Wish is!

If you are looking for specific information to help you continue planning, you can always reach out to a Disney Cruise Line crew member! While phone wait times are still unusually lengthy at the moment, I've found that dropping them an email through their contact form has been one of the most reliable ways to get an answer to my own questions!

Well, Anthony, I hope that gives you a heading on how to navigate this next part of your journey! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface while you continue your wait, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

    Fair winds and following seas!
