I purchased a reservation at the 50's cafe through the Fantasmic Dining Package. Will we still get to pick and choose what food we want from the menu a la carte? Could I share one entree with my child for example?

Hiya, Kristy! Welcome back to planDisney!

It looks like your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner. It won’t be much longer now! Fantasmic is such a great nighttime spectacular, Kristy. And the Fantasmic Dining Packages are a great way to take advantage of reserved seating for the show.

I’m happy to tell you that you will be able to select an entrée of your choosing from the 50’s Prime Time Café menu. With your Fantasmic Dining Package reservation, you’ll receive a voucher for guaranteed seating, an entrée and dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage, for Guests 21 and older). For your child, it will depend on how old they are. For Guests ages 2 or younger, they do not require a voucher and would be able to share an entrée with you. For Guests ages 3 or older, they will need a voucher. As of this writing, the cost for the Fantasmic Dining Package at 50’s Prime Time Café is $60 for Guests ages 10 or older, and $23 for Guests ages 9 or younger. Please note that costs are always subject to change.

The entrance to the reserved seating area is located on Sunset Boulevard, next to Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage. It’s clearly marked beside the standby seating queue. Seating will begin 90 minutes prior to the show, but in my experience, there’s really no need to arrive that early. Having said that, Disney recommends arriving at least 25 minutes before showtime. It’s important to note that seats are not assigned. You’ll choose them from within the reserved section on a first-come, first-served basis. I also always like to mention that there are restrooms and concession options at the back of the amphitheater. It’s good to know, especially when traveling with little ones!

I hope this answers your questions, Kristy! Fantasmic is a phenomenal nighttime spectacular. I’m confident that you’ll appreciate the reserved seating for the show. If you have any other questions as your vacation approaches, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    See you real soon!
