Purchased the FL Res. Discover Disney tix, we are also staying at a Disney hotel. I chose for our tix to be picked up at will call vs. being mailed to me. I read that magic bands act as your tix as well, so does that mean i don't have to go to will call?

    Hi Gabrielle,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I believe you will still need to go to Will Call to pick up your tickets and have them linked to your MagicBand. Any time you purchase a Florida resident special ticket -- whether it's the Discover Disney special or a specially priced Florida resident annual pass -- you must show your Florida identification to activate the tickets.

I recently renewed our Florida resident annual passes online and even though we had our MagicBands and our electronic voucher number linked to our My Disney Experience account, we needed to stop by Guest Relations to show identification and activate the passes. To the best of my knowledge, the procedure is the same for the Discover Disney tickets.

The good news is that the process is very fast. You should be all linked and on your way in just a few minutes. Just be sure that all the adults in your party have valid Florida identification with them.

Enjoy your Discover Disney tickets. They are a great value for those of us who live in the state. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help a fellow Floridian!
