    Hello, we purchased the plus option tickets for WDW, are we able to use our plus options to get into ESPN for the Summit cheer championship April 29th and 30th? A friend of mine said a cast member told her no.

    Hi Cindy and welcome to planDisney!

    I am so excited for all the cheerleaders heading to The Summit - All Star Championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports this weekend!  My daughter is in her second year of cheerleading and she's just loving everything about it.  It's so exciting to see her and the team out on the mat bringing 110% for every performance and competition.  The girls work so hard on their routine, so I'm sure your cheerleader(s) will have an amazing time.

    My daughter's cheer coach is also a Disney Cast Member and an expert on all things cheer and Disney, so I consulted with her and confirmed that tickets for The Summit are not included in the Water Park and Sports Option that you have as part of your tickets and that tickets for the competition are sold through Varsity, which is a third-party company.  Admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports with the Water Park and Sports Option is only for Disney hosted sporting events, which there are currently none taking place.  

    You can use your Water Park and Sports Option admission for a day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (currently the only water park open) or for a round of miniature golf at either Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.  Miniature golf must be played prior to 4:00 PM.  We have had annual passes to the Disney Water Parks for about 15 years, so we love to take a day or even an afternoon to cool off and have some fun splashing around.
