Welcome to planDisney, Nancie!
Happy birthday, to your daughter. And I wish a
very merry unbirthday to you too! I’m
wishing upon a star that your dream of visiting the theme parks at The Happiest Place on Earth comes true this winter.
So far,
Disneyland Resort’s phased reopening has seen the
Downtown Disney District spring back to life, with
dining and
shopping opportunities available for Guests. My favorite part about our recent visit to the Downtown Disney District was listening to the soundtrack of Disney music magically playing throughout the area.
At this point, Disneyland Resort is waiting for the go-ahead from public officials from the State of California and the County of Orange before reopening
Disneyland Park,
Disney California Adventure Park, and the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. I really wish I could borrow
Madame Leota’s crystal ball to find out when that happy day will come. Until then, one thing I do know for sure is that the
Disneyland Resort is ready to welcome Guests safely. Though theme park ticket sales are temporarily suspended at this time, I would expect them to resume as soon as Disneyland Resort is able to properly gauge demand and determine how best to maintain safe capacity levels accordingly.
Tony’s Tip: Personally, I choose to remain hopeful that the Disneyland Resort may reopen within the next few months. But if by chance public health conditions require that state and local government officials decline to authorize plans to fully reopen before your scheduled trip, you may wish to contact your airline and hotel providers to find out if cancellation or change fees may be waived. Many carriers have been making unprecedented exceptions to their normal policies regarding modifications to itineraries. If necessary, such flexible options may allow customers like you to reschedule long-anticipated vacations for a later time. Still, ”
I won’t give up, No I won’t give in;” I’m optimistic that your daughter’s birthday celebration may proceed as planned.
Thanks for stopping by
