Hello there, Kimberly. Thank you for visiting us at planDisney. My pals and I are always happy to help!
I'm so sorry to hear that you are having difficulties downloading the photos that you purchased during your Disney Cruise. I'll do my best to provide you with some options to get everything sorted out. Those cruise memories and the photos that go along with them are so precious! I hope you had a wonderful voyage with Captains Mickey and Minnie.
To start, I must share that the
Disney Cruise Line website was recently updated and I know that some of the aspects of this update are still being rolled out. This could be the reason for the issue that you are experiencing. I'll guide you through how to locate your cruise photos and I apologize if this is already the method that you are using to find them. Let's see if the following works for you.
To access your photos, start by navigating to the "
My Cruise Photos" section on the home page of the
Disney Cruise Line website. From the home page, hover your mouse over the "Already Booked" tab (it's the third tab from the right). Search through the "Already Booked" menu to click "My Cruise Photos". You will find it as the final item listed under the subheading "My Account". After you click the "My Cruise Photos" link, it will take you to a new page where you will be prompted to enter your 8-digit Castaway Club ID to link your photos to your Disney Cruise account. With the photos linked, they should be available to view and download without a watermark.
If you need help finding your Castaway Club ID, follow these simple steps to retrieve it. From the Disney Cruise Line website, sign in to your account. Once you are signed in, hover your mouse over the "Already Booked" tab. Search the drop-down menu that will appear and find the
Castaway Club link (second from the very end of the list). Click "Castaway Club" and if you are signed in, you should be able to view your Castaway Club ID.
If accessing your photos from this method does not remove the watermark from your photos, the next step would be to
contact Disney Cruise Line directly for further assistance. Recently, hold times have been longer than usual so I'd suggest calling early in the day.
Kimberly, I hope that this all gets quickly sorted for you. Thank you for reaching out to us at planDisney and I hope you'll visit us again if we can help with anything in the future.
Enjoy your cruise memories,
Adrianna
