I purchased Photo Pass Plus for our Sept. 2013 visit in advance to get the $149 price and loved it. I had to buy it at least 2 weeks before my vacation to get it in time since I had to be mailed the redemption code & CD. Is the same true of Memory Make

    Hello Delia,

Thanks for stopping by with your important question. Disney's PhotoPass is one of my favorite services at Walt Disney World because it gives me the chance to be in many of the family vacation photos that I normally wouldn't be since I take most of the pictures.

Disney Memory Maker did recently replace the PhotoPass+ service. Many of the aspects are very similar including select attraction photos and pictures from select dining locations. It includes unlimited photos taken during your stay. The difference is that it is now an all digital service. Before you would upload all your photos, edit them and then have to wait for the PhotoCD that was included to be mailed to you. Now, with Memory Maker, once you have made your edits, you can upload them immediately. Instant gratification, to say the least.

You are still able to pre-purchase the Memory Maker for your vacation for a discounted price. However, you can pre-purchase up to 3 days prior to your arrival day at Walt Disney World.

For more information, to purchase this service, and to view a great video that explains some of the great features, visit the Memory Maker page on the Walt Disney World website.

Say "cheese" and have a magical trip creating awesome memories together.
