Hi Joshua,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. I am glad to hear that you are planning another visit to Disneyland Resort, I am sure you will make lots of wonderful memories at the "Happiest Place on Earth".
Disney has announced that due to the shutdown, most Theme Park Tickets will be
automatically extended until December 16, 2021. If you are unable to make it back to Disneyland Resort prior to that date, guests will be able to use the value of their wholly unused Theme Park Tickets toward new admission.
Last week Disney announced that Disneyland Resort will be
opening for California Residents on April 30, 2021. At this time we have not heard when out of state or international guests will be able to visit, due to current guidelines. I suggest checking the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Disneyland Resort website for any updates regarding the reopening as new information will be released there first.
Once Disneyland Resort officially reopens, guests will be required to have both valid admission and a Theme Park Reservation for every visit. More details regarding this new reservation system will be announced in the weeks prior to April 30, but I expect the reservation system will be similar to the
Disney Park Pass system currently in place at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida so stay tuned!
Once more details are released, please come back to
planDisney with all of your questions. We are here to help. I hope you will be able to visit Disneyland Resort soon, Joshua, hopefully we will hear more details about out of state guests soon!
