Hi, Jonnelle! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh my
Citrus Swirl, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation starts TODAY! We better make sure you've got your tickets all worked out, because you'll be hitting that touchpoint and walking into your first theme park in no time at all!
Jonnelle, I'm not sure if you're saying you have tickets for four different Guests but will only be a party of three, or if you have 4-Day Tickets and will only be visiting for three days this time around. We'll try to tackle both scenarios and see where that takes us.
If you purchased four separate tickets and only have three Guests attending, it's a pretty easy fix. You'll simply assign each ticket to a member of your party, and let the fourth go unused. Then when you're ready for a future visit, you can either
reassign the unused ticket in your My Disney Experience account if it hasn't expired, or put the cost toward another ticket if necessary. Easy-peasy Dole-Whip-squeezy!
On the other hand, if you bought 4-Day Tickets for your family and were hoping to save that fourth day for the future, that might be a little trickier.
Multi-day theme park tickets expire up to 14 days from the start date, depending on the number of days you purchased. For your 4-Day Tickets starting today,
your expiration date would be in seven days, meaning the tickets are no longer valid after September 22. You may not be able to use the extra day unless you were to upgrade your tickets at some point before the last day of this visit. You'll need to
visit Guest Relations with your confirmation email before entering the theme park to pick up
Admission Cards, so that would be a good time to check with a Cast Member about what your options are for the fourth ticket day.
Jonnelle, I hope this answered your question. If you need more info, you'll be in the perfect place to get it! Just seek out the friendly face of any Cast Member, and they'll make sure you're on the right track. In the meantime, ride all the rides, eat all the things, and have an absolutely magical Walt Disney World vacation!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
