I just purchased our park tickets online. How can I link them to my disney account?

Hey, Stacey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with your question. I am so glad you were able to purchase your Disney Theme Park Tickets in advance of your magical days at Walt Disney World Resort. I see from the intake form you completed that your trip begins in just a few short days, so let’s get started on making those tickets work the magic for you!

Chances are, the tickets that you purchased may already be linked to your account. When I have purchased Disney Theme Park Tickets and event tickets on the My Disney Experience mobile app or online, the system has had me assign the tickets to guests based on my Family & Friends List. If this did not happen for you, that is okay! I will walk you through the easy process.

First, I would like for you to check your Family & Friends List. Make sure everyone in your party is listed there. Using the Add A Guest button, you can either set up a profile for someone that you can control through your account or you can use their email address to link to their My Disney Experience account they may have already set up. Next, look on your ticket confirmation email for an Order Number or Confirmation Number. You will use it on the Claims page to link your tickets. The number that you input should pull up the entire ticket order so that you can assign each one to the appropriate guests in your My Family & Friends List.

Wasn’t that easy? Now that you have them linked, hop right back in and start making FastPass+ selections! You will be able to make three per day, so go ahead and try to figure out which theme park you would like to visit each of those days. My tip is to pay attention to the Extra Magic Hours schedule. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, then you will want to choose a park that is not hosting Extra Magic Hours that day, especially morning ones. Since Disney Resort Hotel guests can enter an hour early at that park, you will already be behind a large crowd at the attractions by the time you are able to enter the park.

I hope this information helps you FastPass+ your way to an incredible Disney day! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
