Hi Angie! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
For the first time in forever, you will be back at the
Walt Disney World Resort! There have been many changes over the past seven years, including the introduction of
Disney’s Park Pass System. Reservations are required to enter the theme parks daily. If you have park hopper tickets, you can visit multiple theme parks on the same day, and a reservation is only needed for the first park you visit.
Availability is constantly being updated, so there is a chance that the dates you are traveling may open as you get closer to your trip. But with this time of year being Spring Break, I have a feeling that is not the case here. If you are flexible with your dates, you can change them for a future travel date.
First, you’ll want to check if your tickets are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Log on to your account and scroll down until see “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets”. Select “Tickets & Memory Maker” and your tickets will be shown there. If they are not, scroll back up and select “Park Tickets” followed by “Link Tickets”. You’ll need to enter your Ticket ID code found either on the back of your ticket or in your confirmation email upon purchase.
Once verified, scroll back down and there should be a “Change Ticket” option that you can select to modify your tickets. If the new dates selected cost more than the original tickets, you’ll need to pay the difference upon completion. If for some reason you are having trouble making the change yourself, you can always
call the Existing Tickets line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to make the changes for you over the phone!
Whenever you decide to visit Walt Disney World, there will be many new experiences waiting for you!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios has transformed over the past few years and has two new lands dedicated to both Star Wars and Toy Story. Each area is completely immersive and themed to perfection! Although not brand new,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park has the addition of
Pandora - The World of Avatar which debuted about five years ago! Again, Disney Imagineers knocked it out of the park with the details and immersion of this area.
Avatar Flight of Passage is a must when you visit! In my opinion, it is the best attraction at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Angie, best of luck changing your tickets to a more desired date! Have a magical time on your upcoming visit!
See ya real soon!
Greg
